I have dry skin and cat scratches, but they come and go. The only things that stay are my silver toe ring and a hemp anklet made lovingly by a friend. I keep them with me always.

February 18, 2008 - Monday

Today I had doctor’s appointments on opposite side of the islands. To get from my therapist to my nutritionist, my brother and I drove around to Hawaii Kai. We stopped so I could take pictures of the ocean, which is the single most beautiful thing on this great blue Earth of ours.

My brother’s friend/co-worker, Austin. He’s also the nicest of Ryan’s friends - well, actually, he’s not that nice. He just like girls. So he’s nice to me.

i stayed home all day, working on art and editing all my photos from my weekend back in hilo. i did discover how to use the macro feature with my lens - something i’d been trying to do for eons!

unfortunately, now i can’t get it back to a normal setting. but that’s okay. i love macro photography.
